Panettone is an Italian type of sweet dessert bread originally from Milan Lombardy. Virginia Panettone is baked with the finest wheat flour, butter, fresh eggs and milk. The baking process takes 2 days, the dough is made with natural sourdough and ferments in three stages, which gives the cake its distinct fluffy characteristics and naturally long shelf life. This Panettone is flavored with lemon cream. It is often served with sweet hot drinks such as mulled wine or a wine, such as Asti or Moscato d'Asti.

Ingredients: wheat flour - sultanas 20% - butter - sugar - egg yolks - candied citrus fruit zest 5% (orange and lemon zest, glucose-fructose syrup, sugar) - natural yeast ( wheat flour, water) - invert sugar - emulsifier: mono-diglycerides of fatty acids - milk - salt - natural aroma. May contain traces of: hazelnut, almond, soy . Store in a cool, dry place.
